Introducing Advanblack’s New ST Style Fairings for Harley Davidson Motorcycles

Our new ST Style Fairings are the perfect blend of design, functionality, and durability.

Whether you already have fairings or have considered adding them to your Harley Davidson motorcycle, Advanblack has just set the new standard ST Style Fairings. This is something we’ve been working on for a while, and it may be the most exciting new product launch we’ve had this year.
We know that you Softail riders love the sleek style of your bikes. But who wants their motorcycle looking like every other Softail on the road, as if you just drove it out of a dealership? One of the coolest customizations you can do is adding or changing the front and inner fairing. So, we focused on creating fairings that offered improved aerodynamic performance with an aggressive, low-profile design. Folks, these ST Style Fairings are guaranteed to color match your bike perfectly and turn heads at the same time.

What makes these fairings different from other fairings?

In two words, it’s design and fitment. You will love the sharper edges of our outer fairing design, which just exudes “attitude.” We also color match the inner fairing, unlike the OEM Harley fairing which is all back on the inside.
Along with the awesome design, we’ve also made sure that these fairings will fit properly without any retrofitting headaches. All of the brackets are designed to fit perfectly for each specific bike model. We have gone through meticulous fitment testing to ensure proper fitment. We know that our customers enjoy working on their bikes, customizing the look, and adding features and functionality. But they also don’t want it to be something that requires a fully stocked garage of expensive tools.

What comes with the ST Style Fairings?

The Advanblack ST Style fairing comes with everything you need to DIY. When you open the box, you’ll find both the outer and inner fairin in the color that you choose. It also comes with a 10” windshield (clear or smoked), air deflectors, headlight mounting bracket, vent trim, all the screws and nuts for installation, and the panel bracket.
The challenge for us was to make sure these ST Style Fairings would fit on all the different Softail models that are available, and that’s a lot of models! Each one requires a specific mounting bracket to ensure a proper installation. So, depending on your model and year, the bracket may be different. We’ve made it extremely easy when you order these fairings, with dropdown menus on the web page to pick your model. We don’t have brackets for all models and years yet, but currently have brackets for the following:

• Softail Standard '20-Up

We’re working on more models as we go, possible new fitments are the Road King and the Sportster, so if we don’t have yours yet, check back soon.

How hard are the ST style fairings to install?

Our ST style fairings are not hard to install, but it does take some time and patience. Steve Housden, our Service Technician, has made an install video which you can check out here. Keep in mind that some of the installation can be tricky, especially with the headlight wiring, so you’ll want to use your phone to take photos before you start taking things apart. This will be helpful when you start putting things back together.

Some of the installation involves a new headlight bracket, relocating the turn signals, and extending the wiring to the headlight, but none of it is too hard to do. A couple of things to note, however. For the headlights, if you have a Dyna or a Fat Bob, we recommend you purchase a 5.75” headlight. The other models work fine with the OEM headlight. And the cutout ring on the headlight is detachable which allows for the easy installation of the Baja LP-6 headlight if that’s your style.

Also, the fairing support bracket is only compatible on bikes that don’t have a crash bar. If you have the standard or mustache crash bar, you’ll need to purchase a fairing support kit from Harley’s Website (PN 47200927).
And we know you love your road tunes, so for those of you who want to install the OEM Rockford Fosgate audio system, the ST Style Fairings are completely compatible.
